There are a number of ways you can get your site listed in Google but basically the bottom line is good web development. Google provides a general free search and now you can also use Google Ads.

The free search in Google is when someone types in a search query about your business or website and you come up in the search results on the left hand side. The other section of Google right at the top and to the right is a Sponsored links section where you pay per click to appear there.

All websites have a fair go at general free search, there is no way to pay to get a higher listing at least with Google. Google do not guarantee anyone results. It all comes down to lots of content about your business and good web design from the web developer.

Google Ads on the other hand is a pay per click advertising campaign where you sign up with Google, type out your ad, enter some keywords and you appear under the sponsored links section. To find out more see our Google Ads section
